The application via the SPA8i Online Form valid for one (1) year. Candidates are required to fill the online application form when the validity period has expired. |

Qualification Accreditation |
|
| |
Applicants must have Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government and pass in Bahasa Malaysia (including the oral examination) at SPM level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government. |
|

| |
Appointment into Civil Service with Open System SPM |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Candidates who obtained their SPM certificate through the open system are eligible to be appointed into service schemes where the requirement of appointment is the SPM certificate. |
|
| |
To determine the level of qualification is equivalent to the SPM full certificate, that is, certificate issued prior the implementation of open system examination, the following condition shall be met: |
|

|
|
| |
| a) |
Pass in six subjects including Bahasa Melayu, with credits in two subjects and pass in other subjects where all passing subjects obtained in one examination; or |
| b) |
pass in six subjects including Bahasa Melayu, with credits in two subjects and pass in other subjects where passing subjects are obtained from accumulation of two examinations within three consecutive years; and |
| c) |
Meet the Bahasa Melayu requirement, either with credit or pass and subjects that are specified by the service schemes. |

Priority will be given to applicants with credit in Bahasa Malaysia (including pass in the oral examination), Science/ Pure Science, English language and mathematics. |

Age requirement for Paramedic Training Candidates |
|
| |
Direct appointment candidates shall not be less than 17 years old but not more than 25 years old at time of closing date for application. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Appointment Through Promotion (KPSL) officer must be less than 51 years old at time of application. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
A Confirmed serving officer who is servicing in civil service/ statutory bodies and local authorities shall not exceed 38 years old at time of closing date for application. |
