DIVISION’S FUNCTION

This Secretariat functions as subjected in the Constitution under the Article 144 and 144(1), which contains matters such as follow:-

  • Filling in vacancies for the Federal General Services in the state of Sabah
  • Managing matters regarding Examination for the Members of the Federal General Public Service parallel with the regulations and circulars in a fair and intellectual manner.
  • Managing matters regarding Malaysian Public Service Examination and Service that has been predetermined by Ministries/Public Service Department of Malaysia.
 
CLIENT's CHARTER
  • Managing matters regarding appointment for training and offers to permanent posts for the para-medical posts in 8 week's time.
  • Managing matters regarding service issues such as confirmation, conferment into pensionable status, service transfer, and other issues to be completed within 4 weeks.
  • Managing matters regarding In Service Examination and Pra-Service Examination according toschedule such as in the Annual Examination Calendar.
 
MAIN ACTIVITIES

Recruitment

  • Manging the preparations for the interview of candidates who wishes to join the para-medical training and after the graduation of the training.
  • Carry out matters regarding interviews.
  • Prepare the Commission's Contemplation Paper.
  • Convey offer letter for training and appointment to para-medical candidates.
  • Managing interview package for the post of Managerial and Professional Group and Support Group 1 in Sabah for the matter of appointment in headquarters.
  • Carry out nazirans to Ministries/Federal Departments.

Perkhidmatan

  • Managing appointments on permanent, temporary and contractual basis.
  • Managing appointments on secondment, service transfer and permanent and temporary transfer basis.
  • Managing the offer of permanent and temporary posts, confirm services, extend probationary period, confer pensionable status, reduce rank to the original post and the determination of starting salary.
  • Managing the gazette of appointment.
  • Carry out matters regarding SAHPEN spontaneously.
  • Carry out matters of naziran to Ministries/Federal Departments.
  • Update and maintain information in the MIS and SPDM system.

Examination

  • Managing and perform activities regarding Public Service Commission Examination that has been determined from time to time.
  • Managing and carry out examination activities that has been determined in the Malaysian Public Service Examination annual calendar.
  • Managing and administrating briefings on Malaysian Public Service Examination at various Ministries and Federal Departments in Sabah.
