The Judicial and Legal Service Commission of Malaysia (JLSC ) was established according to the Article 138(1) of the Federal Constitution.
MEMBERS OF JLSC
The members of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission are constituted in the Federal Constitution articles as follow:
Article 138(1) Hence there should be one Judicial and Legislative Service Commission which empowerment should include all of the judicial and legislative service members.
Article 138(2) – the membership of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission shall consist of:-
(a)
The Chairman of Public Service Commission must be named Chairman;
(b)
The Attorney General or, if the Attorney General is a member of the Parliament or appointed not amongst the members of Solicitor General; and
(c)
One other member or more that must be appointed by Yang di-Pertuan Agong after discussions have been made with Chief Judge of Federal Court, amongst those that is or has been or eligible to be a judge of the Federal Court, Appeal Court or High Court, or that has been a judge of the Supreme Court before Malaysia Day.
Article 138(3) the Secretary to the Public Services Commission shall also be the secretary to the Judicial and Legal Service Commission.

JURISDICTION AND RESPONSIBILITY
Article 144(1) provides that the function of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission is to appoint, confirm, emplace on the permanent or pensionable establishment, promote, transfer and exercise disciplinary control over members of the service under its jurisdiction.
RULES AND REGULATION
The duty of Judicial and Legal Service Commission is bound to certain rules and regulations. The rules and regulation are as follow:
